Seton Hall Law Student Speaks to IHHS Students

On October 31st, UP Accounting and Business Continuity students were treated to a financial presentation given by Drew Cameron, a Seton Hall Law student in his final year of study.  Drew represented a program called the “Investor Advocacy Project”, one of only 13 programs sponsored by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). This project enables law students (overseen by a mentor) to gain experience representing financial clients who have been unjustly treated.  Legal work is free and as Drew commented “should be a last resort” but is available to those needing assistance. Drew emphasized the importance of being active and aware of one’s finances. He also encouraged students to always “ask questions” and never be passive with their finances.
