2018 New Jersey DECA State Competition

We are very pleased and extremely proud to report that 30 students from Ramapo-Indian Hills DECA medaled in the final rounds of their competitive events at the 2018 New Jersey DECA State Career Development Conference, with 9 students finishing in 1st Place Overall. This competition season saw the most students from our district to ever qualify for both the State and International Conferences. Notably, this was also the most competitive year in the history of New Jersey DECA, with more than 10,000 students competing originally at the regional level.

I would like to thank Angela Funk, Michelle Patrickio, Eileen Shemon, Connie Cheff, and Bob & Corinne Jasinski for chaperoning and volunteering as competitive event judges this conference. Our students' success would not be possible without their support. Thank you to all RIH staff for your understanding in allowing these students to take time out of the classroom to pursue this incredible opportunity.
