The Indian Hills Media Center is proud to host "Revolutionary Lives," a captivating traveling exhibit commemorating the upcoming 250th anniversary of the American Revolution. Created through a partnership between the New Jersey Historical Commission and the nonprofit Crossroads of the American Revolution Association, this walk-through display brings history to life for the RIH community.

An Interactive Educational Experience

"Revolutionary Lives" is more than just a historical display; it is an immersive experience designed to engage students with the diverse stories of New Jerseyans during the Revolutionary era. The exhibit invites visitors to:

  • Explore Local History: Learn about the varied experiences of individuals who lived through the Revolution in New Jersey.
  • Engage with Multimedia: The display includes QR codes that students can scan to access videos and additional historical information.
  • Reflect and Connect: A dedicated reflection area allows students to write their thoughts on stars and add them to the display, considering their own part in the future of New Jersey and the United States.
  • Capture the Moment: The exhibit features a fun "photo spot" where students can take pictures to remember their visit.

Visit the Exhibit

The "Revolutionary Lives" exhibit will be on display in the Indian Hills Media Center until Tuesday, February 10. We encourage all students and staff to take advantage of this unique opportunity to explore our state's rich revolutionary heritage.
