The Indian Hills High School HOSA (Future Health Professionals) chapter recently showcased their skills and dedication at the New Jersey HOSA State Conference. In only its third year as a chapter, Indian Hills continues to make a significant impact in a rapidly growing field of competitors across the state.

Several students distinguished themselves through rigorous prejudging rounds and on-site competitions, earning prestigious honors at the state level. These achievements highlight the academic excellence and commitment to service that define the Indian Hills community.

Individual Award Winners

We are proud to recognize the following students for their outstanding performances:

  • Shannon Cassidy: Earned 3rd Place in the Job Seeking Skills competition.
  • Bridgette Brown: Placed 5th in Medical Reading. Bridgette was also a recipient of the Barbara James Service Award for her incredible commitment to the community, completing over 100 hours of healthcare service since June 1st.
  • Erin Han: Received the Gold Level Barbara James Service Award. This top-tier honor was awarded for completing an extraordinary 250+ hours of healthcare service since June 1st.

A Growing Legacy of Success

The success of these students is a testament to their hard work and the professional manner in which they represented Indian Hills High School. Chapter Advisor Ashley Murphy expressed immense pride in the team's accomplishments, noting the growth of HOSA in New Jersey and the impressive trajectory of the school's young chapter.
