Congratulations to the 19 Indian Hills seniors officially inducted into the World Language National Honor Society (WLNHS) last week! This year, a total of 41 students qualified for this honor based on their grades; of those,19 chose to complete the application process.

Induction into the WLNHS shows how these seniors have demonstrated exceptional commitment to linguistic mastery and cultural understanding. Each one has completed a minimum of three years of a World Language at the Honors level, or four years at the CPE level. Students who meet the grade requirements are invited to submit an application for membership.
A brief description of the requirements for being considered for inclusion in the WLNHS are listed below:
What it takes to join:
- Academic Excellence: Students must maintain a B+ or higher in Honors classes or an A- in CPE language courses.
- Commitment: Completion of 3–4 years of language study.
- Character: Applicants must pass a disciplinary review and demonstrate their passion through speaking samples and essays.
Beyond their impressive grades, applicants also submitted personal reflections on their love for language and provided speaking samples to showcase their skills.
The commitment doesn't end with the ceremony; these new inductees will now serve as peer tutors, supporting level one and two language students throughout the year.
